Amplifying Abortion Access

A person’s right to choose is under attack. Since their inception in 2015, we have worked with non-profit Shout Your Abortion to strategize and design multiple physical and digital campaigns to meet the needs of an ever-changing and ever-hostile landscape surrounding abortion advocacy and access. The identity system and website we built for them and launched in 2023 has become a global platform for their network of supporters to share their personal narratives, find opportunities to organise, download protest materials, and learn about the safety of abortion pills.

Protest Tools

Changing the narrative around abortion has to happen everywhere–online and in the streets. Free pro-abortion tools and materials, posters, zines, postcards, social media assets, and so much more, are available for download. Part of making SYA inclusive and accessible is the ability to download print-ready graphics from their website. By democratizing our work allows people to make it their own–which encourages individual participation in collective action.

Social Media Generator

To help SYA’s small, busy team share more stories we created a dynamic, custom social media generator. Now their team, or anyone on the site, can simply highlight their favorite line of text on a story page, choose their SYA brand colors and download.

The Language of Protest

The Shout Your Abortion identity draws from the DIY aesthetic of protest: zines, cut-and-paste flyers, and letterforms made with exacto knives and tape. The color palette, inspired by astrobright paper stock, is meant to be seen and heard, and easily found at any local print shop.

Abortion on our Terms

Sharing your abortion story is a radical and freeing act. Since 2015, countless people have shared their abortion stories through all sorts of SYA platforms, including through the website where you can write your abortion story on your own terms.
