Summary
We teamed up with the National Head Start Association (NHSA) to update their parent brand and to create a new brand for their think-action tank, HeadStarter Network.
Background
For over 40 years the Head Start program has provided early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families. Head Start is one of the longest-running programs attempting to address the effects of systemic poverty in the United States by intervening to aid children.

Client
National Head Start Association (NHSA)
Location
Washington DC, USA
Approach
We created a new identity system for NHSA’s new think-action tank, HeadStarter Network. In creating the mark we played off of NHSA’s heritage logo. The resulting logo creates an H and an N found in the negative space created by the initials. We chose a vibrant purple to match the energy and innovation of the new network. We also created an identity and colorway system for print, digital and conference collateral systems.
